In addition, Mr. Bean has worked as a consultant for Glenn Mark & Associates, served on the Bermuda Alliance for Tourism Marketing Committee, been a board member for New York’s Woman of Great Esteem, and was on the executive board of Celebration Community Choir. He has also served as executive administrator for Citadel of Love Church and been an active volunteer with the AIDS Project of Los Angeles.

In recent years, Mr. Bean has made his mark as both a promoter and a philanthropist. He has appeared on the hit show “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” promoted esteemed author Traci Howard’s 2009 book launch event, and co-produced Sheree Whitfield’s “She by Sheree” fashion show.  Bean has promoted events in nine different countries spanning North America, the Caribbean, and Europe. Among these events have been the Bermuda Music Festival, Bermuda Love Festival, Indiana Black Expo, and Fashion Week (New York City). Mr. Bean also regularly works with non-profit organizations and charitable foundations. He currently sits on the boards of both the Boys2Men Foundation and Teach One Academy. Mr. Bean’s latest endeavor has been to establish a weekly discussion group designed to meet the needs of African American women.

The Penile Soliloquies Makes Its Debut In Atlanta

Atlanta, GA, Monday, October 26, 2009 – The Penile Soliloquies, a series of stories and commentary on sensitive issues affecting the male species, takes center stage in Atlanta for an introductory performance on Thursday, October 29, 2009.

Life from a male point of view is often thought about but rarely spoken in a public forum…until now. The Penile Soliloquies is a collection of over 20 short monologues, written from the male perspective, to teach men and women about love, emotions, relationships, egos and the sometimes vicious cycles of life we learn from our elders.

Written and produced by Stan Clemons, the debut reading to an intimate audience will be held from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Vino Libro, a specialty wine retailer/eatery located in trendy Glenwood Park. The reading will begin promptly at 8 p.m. and will include seven pieces from the collection entitled Blue Collar Brotha, Honey Do Man, Who’s Afraid of the “M” Word, Hung, Clueless, Just Like My Daddy and A Seasoned Man.

This Soliloquies is rated L for Life and was created to not only entertain but also share lessons on the complexities of relationships ranging from sexual frustration to self esteem to philandering. This production will fascinate audiences as it portrays an intimate look of issues we all face but seldom acknowledge.  Sex, abuse, integrity, infidelity, and the discontent caused by asymmetrical communication between the two sexes are just some of the controversial subjects brought to life as they are woven throughout the Soliloquies.

“Most of the plays and books that delve into the intricacies of relationships are generally from the female perspective, so I thought the time had come to hear the male version of the sexual paradigm,” explains Clemons who was inspired from his life experiences as both a married man for 25 years followed by a single one for 17. “I started writing them over 10 years ago after much soul searching and candid conversations with other men. I could write a book from all that I experienced, but instead I chose this forum as I see myself as a seasoned man giving back what I have learned over the years.”

The Soliloquies give men the opportunity to say what’s on their mind both above and below the belt.  Women will find the Penile Soliloquies intriguing as it defines the role that they play while examining the results of their decisions and standards.  Through music and poetry that entices the senses, the soliloquies serve as an outlet for men seeking a peaceful medium to speak candidly to their women. Unlike women, most men tend to find themselves very alone in their relationship struggles, so the male audience welcomes the opportunity to hear from other men who share their experiences.

Without question, the Soliloquies stimulate great discussion among friends, lovers and families; therefore, they will soon be available on CD and iTunes in an effort to educate, particularly African-American young men, who often struggle on managing relationships, giving and receiving love and communicating as a whole.

While it is clear that many of the fans have a love-hate relationship with the ladies, it is a shameless addiction that has lured television audiences around the world.  Described by many as a “dramady,” this season was filled with cat fights, back stabbing, men in high heels, and a sparring match with a party planner.  All to culminate with a season finale centered on the much anticipated fashion show of one of the reality program’s stars, Sheree Whitfield, c0-produced by none other than Glenn Bean.

In an effort to avoid the fashion show disaster of season one, this season’s finale’s fashion show was spearheaded by international fashion expert and reality television star, Dwight Eubanks.  With nothing done the production, Eubanks immediately enlisted the services of his publicist, Mr. Bean, as the event designer, with three days to pull it all together on zero budget.  With Bean’s eye for detail and Eubanks’ extensive fashion background and panache, the two were a partnership to truly reckon with, infusing their own funds to ensure success.

“VIPDistinct is a powerful force in the luxury event planning market,” explains Eubanks. “Partnering with Glenn Bean provided the medium to take the show to a higher level and reach the sophistication and influence She By Sheree needed.”

The star-studded, red carpet affair, entitled The Evolution of She: 50’s Glamour Meets 21^st Century Sophistication, delivered a treat for the senses as Bean and his team transformed the ballroom at the W Hotel into a glamorous catwalk that was filled beyond capacity with Atlanta’s most distinguished socialites, VIPs and fashionistas, all supported by co-stars of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Lisa Wu Hartwell, Kandi Burress, Nene Leakes, Kim Zolciak and Dwight Eubanks.  Celebrities in attendance also included R&B singer Bobby Valentino, singer Angie Stone, retired NFL player Dorsey Levens, WSB-TV anchor Jovita Moore, producer Jazzy Phe and designer Mychael Knight.

Atlanta, GA, Tuesday, May 14, 2009  From the collection of finely-crafted garments reminiscent of an era and elegance to the electrifying entertainment, Tuesday nights star-studded, red carpet affair was reflective of a high energy, international fashion show and the birthing of the fashion worlds newest star: Sheree Whitfield.

The highly anticipated fashion event, The Evolution Of She: 50s glamour meets 21st century sophistication, was held at Atlantas W Hotel on Tuesday, May 12, 2009 and was one of the citys most sought after invites. Supported by her co-stars of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Lisa Wu Hartwell, Kandi Burress, Nene Leakes, Kim Zolciak and Dwight Eubanks, Ms. Whitfield proved to her critics and fans alike that she deserves the title: Fashion Designer.

With her eyes set on revolutionizing Atlantas fashion landscape, Ms. Whitfield enlisted the services of international fashion expert and reality television star, Dwight Eubanks, who immediately secured the services of his publicist and PR manager, Glenn Bean. With Beans eye for detail and Eubanks extensive fashion background and panache, the two were a partnership to truly reckon with. Although Bean and Whitfield elected to move in a separate direction prior to filming, she didn’t miss the opportunity to infuse a few elements of his exclusive design with that of her selected party planner, including the use of his coined theme name: Independence Party.  Bean, focusing on uplifting Whitfield, laid out a plan overflowing with sophistication, including storytelling, poetry, empowering music and a menu to satisfy every palate.  The outline was a recipe for the perfect celebration, suggesting the ideal guest list, timing and details galore, including an itinerary where the party moves from one location to another.

“When Sheree approached me, I immediately dismissed the term “divorce party” and introduced her to a new attitude: independence!” Bean explains.  “I am sorry that she didn’t go with our firm as it is so rewarding to assist my many clients in making sound, creative choices that produce unique, spectacular events.  It is clear that Sheree’s vision was not achieved in that party and, unfortunately, she had to endure quite a bit in working with the planner selected.”

Anyone can produce a party for any occasion both big and small; however, Bean is highly sought after due in large part to his signature flair in producing events that set trends and such is the case with his newly designed Independence Party.  Each is crafted around a theme, with a distinct look, that brings all elements of entertaining together to create an overall design that is reflective of the guest of honor and celebrates the transition.
